Needed a small heat gun for resin projects & this is absolutely perfect. Heats up hotter than other ones & super easy to use.
Very inexpensive but gets hot enough to melt solder. Needed it to fix my wife's radio in her jeep👍
I used this on shrink wrap for cotton candy treats I sell. It works very nicely for it. It doesn’t get too hot on the lower setting to where it shrinks my cotton candy too. The only issue I had was that it vibrates right off the counter if I take more than 30 seconds between treats. Annoying yes but since I’ve never had another one I have no idea if others do this too. So, I’ll keep it.
The media could not be loaded. I'm sure everyone in the reviews covered the basics. It heats stuff. Moderately. Like any reasonable person would think $12 should get you. I say should and not would, because a $12 heat gun that put out 2000w temps would probably not have any money left over in the build for proper temperature resistant housing/components. One thing that I did not see mentioned was the aesthetics. It's weird to bring up in a sub $20 power tool, but it's honestly impressive. It's rocking the same 80s retro industrial palette as my $120 Keychron keyboard. And the grooves/trim have that 80\90s Ryobi vibe. The team that put this out has a better designer than most of the tool sellers on Amazon especially in the sub $20 category. If someone with one of the nice company parking spot sees this: you need to pay the design team more.Power slide-switch is solid and without play, articulated leg for placing the heat gun level is snappy and well thought out.
takes a min to heat up I get impatient and use a torch most the time but if your doing continuous work with it it works good I do a lot of work with the heat shrink whether it's car audio or or making wires I have diff torches, I have torches with hot air attachments this seems to be the slower of the options I have for heatshrink but it works a lot of the time to im in the truck so I need something portable
I have used tool a handful of times now and it does do its job as far as popping the bubbles on the surface on resin crafts. I wish it blew a little harder but I think for what I pay for it was not that bad at.
Heat gun came in, tried to use it, end heated to the point of melting the plastic at the end and appears no holes in the end where the air is supposed to come out. Almost like end was never drilled for air flow. Unable to use
Works great for heat shrink in tight places.
No hay mucha diferencia entre esta y la de mayor precio las 2 hacen un trabajo similar
It gets hot. That's for sure. It doesn't move much air however so if you are shrinking larger things it takes a while and can be frustrating. I bought it as a compact travel heat gun and while it was compact, and did heat up, for my needs it wasn't effective and plan to look at other options.
