  This is a very nice kit for freehand foam cutting. It includes the powered and rechargeable handle and a few different attachments that can be used for different applications.The cutter handle holds the battery and is rechargeable via a USB-C cable. The unit includes a bow hot knife (with extra wire), a needle hot knife and a U-shaped blade hot knife. These are all very handy and it's nice to be able to swap them out so easily.The battery has a lot of power and can be used for a while (30 min+) before stopping. The handle is comfortable and easy to use. I don't think the battery can be replaced, but it has a two-year replacement warranty, which is comforting. I use my knife for railroad modeling and it's a godsend if you're working with foam. I'm glad I have this kit. It's a nice accompaniment to my table cutter. Five stars!

  I waited for all my items to arrive before starting my craft, opened box and it will not power on. It was too late for the return window. Never was able to use the stupid thing because it is defective!

  The media could not be loaded. First, I want to mention that I received this product for evaluation. I planned to use the DOINOW 6 in 1 Cordless Hot Wire Foam Cutter Kit for cutting foam. I expect that it is well manufactured, easy to use, and works. This product has met all of my expectations, and the quality is great.This is the first time that I have tried a foam cutter, and I am amazed! This is the type of product that you ask yourself: "why didn't I purchase this before?" The product includes the power handle, which needs to be charged with the enclosed USB cable, instructions, three blade wands and wire. The instructions are easy to follow and to the point.The wands are easy to place on the handle but there is a little resistance, so you need to apply a little force. One wand is intended to make through-holes, another wand is U shaped and is intended to make pocket holes. The third wand is the one used to cut large areas of foam. This last wand needs the wire for working. The process of assembling the wire on this wand is simple.I included a video of the process of assembling the wire and using all the wands on a foam block. Please, excuse the quality of the cuts that I made in the video; this was my first time using this type of product. However, you can see how easy it is to cut foam with this device. When the handle is turned on, a light turns on, which is a great way to tell you that the item is being powered and be careful to avoid burns. After 5-10 seconds the wand is ready to cut the foam. In the past, I used an electric kitchen knife to cut foam blocks and the process is very messy and takes longer than this product.

  I needed to cut some foam for a gun case, and I found this. I charged it up and began using the long straight wire to cut the foam so that I could put a rifle into the case. It worked like a champ and cut easily. I am ecstatic that I made this purchase and will definitely use this for other foam cutting projects.

  Keep this in mind for this rating - this has not and will not be an oft used product for me. I don't cut a lot of foam at all, but for my immediate need it has worked extremely well. As a result, I have little doubt it will work well for any foam cutting project you have. My biggest regret is not finding this sooner as I butchered a lot of foam unnecessarily because of trying to cut with a knife. Great item for the small project I used it for.
