  I love the first set so much after using it for a year that I went into my Amazon purchases and clicked on "buy again". Second purchase did not come with the stand even though it is pictured in one of the pictures promoting the product. Pretty disappointing because that is one of the things that I love about the salt and pepper grinders....you can take them to the kitchen table without them falling out of the stand like so many other grinders on a stand on Amazon. Don't know why people have peppercorns falling out of their pepper grinder… Twist the grinder so it's a finder grind and they shouldn't fall out. They do take a fair amount of batteries and we use our grinders frequently and in one year I'm still on the same set of batteries so I wouldn't say they take a lot of batteries as they don't frequently need replacing. They do freak out our guests occasionally as our guests are not expecting them to be battery operated and turn on when you flip them upside down to use them… It's entertaining! Still the best battery operated salt and pepper shakers that I have ever used and I've had several different kinds just very disappointed about the lack of the stand for them this time around.

  These are so easy to use and grinds the salt and peppercorns perfectly. Love the LED light so you can see how much you are actually using. I plan to buy family members sets as well.

  Very happy with quality/durability. One negative is that each grinder takes 6AAA batteries each, not necessarily a bad thing just seems a bit excessive to me. Second is after installing the batteries one grinder worked, the other did not. Taking a closer look I noticed it was a bad connection where the batteries and terminals touch. I wiped the contacts using denatured alcohol on a Q-tip. After reinstalling the batteries it worked perfectly (which seems to be a common issue with most electronics that use standard batteries these days.).

  They take a lot of batteries to run such a simple thing. Don’t get water in them. I got a drip in it from rinsing off the outside and it broke it. Other than that they are great

  I saw this on one of my fb cooking reels I follow. Well I had to try it for myself. We use sea salt but I never liked the texture. This grinds great.
