  Update : have now had this unit a few months. It is working amazingly! Very, very happy with my purchase!I have had 3 Lasko versions on this type of fan. This one has not only has meet my expectations, but is starting to pass those very good fans. The 3 stage air volume setting and timer functionality is great. I don’t have to worry about coming back out to my garage and cutting it off. The timer is also pretty accurate. I tested the 60, 120 & 180 settings. The 60 setting went 63 minutes, the 120 setting went 124 minutes and the 180 setting went 179 minutes, for me. The extra plugs on the unit and quote handy as well. I’ll provide another update in 6 months to see where we are.

  My basement gets water now and then. The air on this is powerful--3 speeds. Also, a timer. Easy to use, packed well, does the job.

  Bought 1 of these to help cool down the house on summer nights and it is my favorite thing. It moves so much air that it actually creates a draft through the house that can be felt at the open windows.It is decently loud when at max speed, but that’s not too important because you can still feel the air movement from more than half the house away. When we are cooking and the kitchen gets too warm I turn the fan on in the bedroom and it creates a breeze past the stove.My girlfriend told me we aren’t buying more as Christmas presents, but I pretended I couldn’t hear her because the fan was on in the same room as me. 10/10 - am going to buy more as Christmas presents for my parents and brothers.

  GREAT DESIGN, GREAT BUY! SO PLEASED. Bought to keep cool when sitting on the deck. It is so compact, yet so powerful and quiet enough. That it fully rotates closed is a GREAT PLUS as well as moving direction up and down.

  Our garage is extremely hot in the summer months. Even though we have a portable air conditioner, it does not cool the whole garage or even much of my workshop area. I'm glad we bought this small unit to cool down the garage in the morning. We partially open a couple of doors and turn the fan on full power. It brings in the cool air from outside lowering the inside temp. Our garage is insulated and retains the heat overnight. We run the fan for a couple hours in the morning before the sun hits the open door where the fan is placed. This fan works very well for cross-ventilation. I'm sure it will help when we have the carpets cleaned, too.
