  You will want to practice a bit with this DEZAUP Sheet Metal Cutter. I attached it to a pretty buff Makita 18-volt drill, assembly was easy, referring to the photos on the listing, and it zipped through 28-guage sheet steel very easily. You will want to practice a bit to learn how to control it, or it will go where it wants. If your drill has multiple speeds, set it to low. It will still be plenty fast. The listing says nibbler, but it is NOT a nibbler. I have a pneumatic nibbler, and this beats the nibbler hands down. I have several corded and cordless drills, and I'm going to figure out which one is slowest. It will still be way faster than using hand shears, and a lot kinder on my sore wrists and hands. I like it!!

  It works great on thin metal like sheet metal for ac units. It definitely has its limitations on thicker metal but for my needs it does great. I would recommend

  I assembled this cutter as best I could based on the limited instructions that were included with the product. I think the cutter would perform ok in a thin sheet metal cutting scenario as long as the sheet was flat and the cuts were straight. I tried cutting some 29-gauge corrugated scrap sheet metal and found the cutting to be erratic and hard to control. The cutting action would start and then suddenly stop as the cutting wheels failed to grab and then I would have to reverse the drill to back up and come out of a cut.

  The media could not be loaded. This works for thin metal and flat. For what I doing this works fine way better then tin snip or metal cutting blade. For the price worth trying it out and seeing if it works for you.
