  These are nice scissors. Heavy duty, sharp, and handy. Problem is with customer support. The battery charger was DOA. I wrote to company and got no response at all.Revision: I am pleased to say that after some delay customer support and this company really came through. They offered a full refund or replacement.   Cuts up boxes just fine

  I didn't know how much I needed this tool! I had some pretty big boxes to break down and fit into my recycle bin. I was able the cut into smaller manageable pieces and I was able to get more than usual to fit in the bin. It's actually kind of fun to use. The cutter cuts really fast so it's not time consuming to do. I keep it handy for all my amazon box deliveries

  I decided to try these electric scissors to help me with the still ubiquitous clamshell packaging that still seems to plague me and my sliced up fingers. Have to say these shears should be fine for the job. Upon digging into the packaging I was surprised at the large size of them - think more workshop than home office. They're also rather loud in use; no surprising anyone in the house with these cutters running. However, they should work fine for pretty much anything you need to cut, plus they come with an extra battery, plug-in charger, spare blade set and even a little fixed blade cutting tool for edge cleanup. Much easier on the worn out digits than manual scissors.

  I used this to cut all of my cardboard boxes to put in my compost pile. Works great still after cutting 40 medium size boxes. Runs for around 20 minutes non-stop. Takes about 30 minutes to charge. At the time of writing this, I have had it about a month. Quite happy with it thus far.

  It is a quality carpet cutter. I used it to cut a relatively thick carpet and it performed perfectly. I should have bought it earlier.
